The date is 1985. Unicor is the trade name for Federal Prison Industries. I went from being a Unicor federal prison inmate to a Unicor federal contractor, a feat never accomplished by anyone in the history of Unicor since 1934. I was awarded custody of my son without an attorney facing the opposition of an attorney and a bias guardian ad litem. In 2025 I'm currently homeschooling my 8-year-old son while running a profitable business. I'm raising my son while still fighting systems most people never survive and domestic drama. At 68 when most people retire. I'm building my legacy. I lost love, I lost years, but I never lost my purpose. Still I Rise is my story, raw, unfiltered, and TRUE.
