Still Beautiful is something everyone needs to read. The words resonate with me, I someone who was bullied as a child and adult. I had the same self-confidence issues because being called ugly just becomes believable. Kelly has a way of inspiring people to see her real beauty. In today's society there are too many young people who can learn that beauty doesn't come from the outside shell. It comes from how you and others see you in the inside. By Lisa Adams Kelly is a magnet for the assembly of once-broken beautiful souls. Powered by her own history of pain, struggle, and overcoming, Kelly invites others to share their unique tales of strife and victory. Still Beautiful might prove the catalyst for you to start your own self-esteem renovations, or better, perhaps act as the impetus for the telling of your own tale, the writing of your own book. By Sheree Zielke Still Beautiful and Kelly Falardeau's ability to provide confidence for those who are seeking healing from various traumas from physical, emotional and spiritual challenges. Life circumstances and unforeseen addictions that have left each individual with obstacles to champion and create new pathways of healing and self-talk new tools are found in this book. We were all born beautiful and remain beautiful because we are all God's creation even with our battleground of bruises, scars and unseen thoughts we will persevere in living with peace, harmony, truth and falling in love with one's self. By Jacqui Russell I remember meeting Kelly in grade two. She was really sweet and always wore such pretty dresses. I remember having to line up and all hold hands cause we were going somewhere for class and only then realizing Kelly was different and from then on, trying to make sure I didn't end up beside Kelly so I wouldn't have to hold her hand, looking back I was definitely one of the kids who had fear of 'differences' and Kelly really was the first person I'd encountered who was burnt (breaks my heart writing this). My Dad was friends with Kelly's dad and it was only until my dad told me what had happened did I realize Kelly was just a little girl like me who had a really bad accident with fire. Last time I saw Kelly it was at McDonald's and we sat and had our lunches together. Thoroughly enjoyed Still Beautiful and highly recommend the read. By Sharon Hall
