He slid a business card across the desk. There was a printed seal and the words Department of State and Office of Intelligence Research. Underneath was his name, Mr. Daniel Morgan, and a phone number in Washington, D.C. I rotated the card to face me and carefully centered it on my desk in front of me. ""So what does the Bureau want with me?"" ""We have a job for you."" His voice had become clipped and tense again, all comfort dissipated.
