Overview

Stevie Snickerdoodle, a 9-year-old boy, goes on his second African adventure when he is transported to the Atherstone Nature Reserve, where he meets a vulture family with one chick. He is accepted as the second vulture sibling and lives high up in a tree with his new family. In Book #2 of Stevie's Adventures Series, a fast-paced story develops within multiple exciting situations. There is magic, excitement, and adventure. It develops an understanding of life as an endangered vulture. Many themes in Book #2 revolve around autism and how Stevie deals with it in different situations, but it is equally suitable for any adventurous boy.

Being a child of Africa, all of Hester's works contain an African element to enhance the learning process.
