Stereograms are 2D images that hide a 3D image inside. These images are created using a technique called stereopsis, which is the natural process by which our eyes perceive depth. Each eye sees the world from a slightly different angle, and our brain combines these two perspectives to create a three-dimensional image. Stereograms mimic this process, presenting a slightly different image to each eye. The history of stereograms dates back to the early 19th century. Sir Charles Wheatstone, a British scientist, carried out pioneering research into binocular vision, which led to the development of stereopsis and eventually the creation of stereograms. Stereograms are a unique visual art form that challenges our perception and immerses us in a world of depth and dimension. Their rich history and ability to captivate people of all ages make them a timeless form of entertainment.
