Author Information
Rev. Dr. Mark Raeburn Johnston began his military career in the United States Navy in 1973 and was ordained in 1980. He served as a Navy Chaplain and later with the Christian Broadcasting Network as Director of National Ministries and Corporate Chaplain for the 700 Club. Reentering active duty with the Army in 1998, he retired as a Lieutenant Colonel in 2014. Mark co-hosted Praise Patrol, a radio program for the American Forces Network with his wife, Julia. He has received numerous military awards and edited The Military Bible, distributed to over 70,000 service members. Mark resides in Chesapeake, Virginia.
