Her research spans the disciplines of the history of the family, law, and visual culture in the early modern period. She is Burghley Visiting Fellow at St John’s College, Cambridge in Michaelmas 2024. Gabriella Erdélyi is Senior Research Fellow at the Research Centre for the Humanities (HUN-REN RCH), Institute of History, Budapest. Erdélyi’s ‘Integrating Families’, Hungarian Academy of Sciences Momentum project 2017-2022, explored stepfamily dynamics in East Central Europe.
