Overview

Judy Rubio and Mark Allen were two strangers who met at the airport, both trying to get home. During their flight, they exchanged business cards. A few days later, Mark needed Judy's help, and she helped him out, for a fee. Mark took Judy out to lunch as a 'Thank You' gesture. After their lunch, and for the next few days, Mark wanted to call Judy and ask her out, but he didn't. Judy had enjoyed her lunch with Mark, and hoped that he would call her, but he didn't. They met again at a house party, and this time Mark was going to tell Judy how he felt. He wanted to 'court' her. Soon after their courtship started, Judy got in trouble with the law... Again! This time, as a transporter of illegal drugs. Even though she was innocent, her business started to fail. Would Mark's business also start to fail? Rumors were spreading, and clients had questions. Judy thought it best that they break up, but Mark would not allow it. He loved Judy too much to throw away what he had with her. Judy fit perfectly in his life. A bit too perfect for one of Mark's family members. Mark had been perfectly happy being a widower for these past ten years. Why would he want to stir things up in his life? Mark had already given Judy a substantial amount of money to help her out. Was it possible that Judy was only interested in Mark for his money? Was Mark so besotted with Judy that he wasn't seeing how conniving Judy was? Judy, upon hearing this straight from one of Mark's sons, decided that the best thing for her to do was to break off her relationship with Mark, and she did. After Judy returned from a trip, she and Jonah, one of Mark's sons, cleared the air and got things settled. They were back on track until Jonah got the call that Mark had been involved in an accident, and it didn't look like he was going to survive. Was it too late for Judy to reconcile with Mark? Were her dreams of a future with Mark going to be unfulfilled? Why would God bring them together in such a planned manner only to take Mark away from her? It just didn't make any sense.

Odalys Estevez Green was born in Cuba but raised in the United States. Odalys has always liked to read books and fascinated by aviation (how did those great metal ships stay up in the sky?). She enjoys a good romance book and/or movie. She met her husband later in life at a funeral and within a year married David Green, from Northern Ireland. She pretty much grew up in the Los Angeles area and moved to Houston, Texas when her employer moved her department there. She moved to the Rio Grande Valley area with her husband where she currently lives.
