In some ways he is special within that very elite circle of great teachers, because he also has the distinction of having been chosen by the Dalai Lama to teach in the West for a number of years. His most wonderful book, Step By Step, reflects this multidimensional aspect of his background. It embodies the profound training and intense realization of that is the legacy of Tibet, with the easy access quality of modern Buddhist teachers in the West. Indeed, it is a delight for all of those with the auspicious destiny to encounter it, providing a dramatic and thrilling guide to the foundational practices leading to higher consciousness and enlightenment. --Glenn H.
