OverviewSteel Workers in India discusses the factors that determine organizational climate and employee job satisfaction in the Salem Steel Plant. In this study, job satisfaction is delineated by twelve distinct dimensions, namely human resources policies and welfare measures, work stress, employee promotion, communication, pay and operations circumstances, nature of work, rewards system, safety measures, appraisal systems. Organizational climate is approach in four dimensions: humanistic climate, autonomous climate, flexible climate, and job dimension climate. These associations are framed into a central hypothesis suggesting that there is a strong correlation between organizational climate and job satisfaction. Organizational climate and job satisfaction reinforce each other, for the common ground connecting those concepts is employee perception.
