M. Armstrong was born in Rochester, NY. He lived in numerous places by the time he was 15. He moved out of his family's home at 15 and completed high school in SLC, UT. At 18 he joined the Marine Corps. He spent 30 years from 1985-2015 as a U.S. Marine. He has a wife and 3 children. They currently live in Temecula, CA.
