Overview

This book develops the statistical predictive techniques most commonly used in the work in data analysis. Logistic regression and discriminant analysis are ad hoc classification models whose dependent variable has several probabilizable categories. Therefore, scoring models can be considered. From these models you can segment the data from the database used to estimate the models in as many classes as the dependent variable has categories. The same applies to decision trees, which usually have the dependent variable and most of the independent categorical variables
