OverviewNoncommissioned officers (NCOs) have knowledge and experience beyond their years. They translate their commanders' orders into real-world action. They successfully lead diverse teams in unfavorable conditions. They cut through the noise to create simple objectives and get things done. And yet, when their service is over, many NCOs struggle to transition into a successful civilian career. Author, founder, and Marine William Treseder experienced this struggle firsthand. Then he came to a stunning realization: startups desperately need the kind of broad skills and knowledge an NCO can offer. They just don't know it yet. Your job is to show them. Startup NCO is a practical, no-nonsense guide to translating enlisted experience into a high-growth career in the startup world. By following a proven path broken down into daily actions, you will learn to break into the world of startups, build meaningful connections, and kickstart the next chapter of your life.
