Overview

Hugh Packard is a high-flying securities trader who flies too high, quits his position, has an affair--no, two--drives his Porsche to Fort Lauderdale, buys a Cigarette boat, does drugs, and crashes when his girlfriend dumps him. Author Information

William Lancaster is a journalist and novelist. This is his second novel. His first is The Beast and the Cross, a novel about using guns in self-defense, available on Amazon.com. He lives in Greenville, SC, with his wife, Marty, and Labradoodle, Angel. He has been an avid boater and sailing teacher. He and Marty have boated long the South Carolina coast and in Florida. They make a cameo appearance in Starman as the couple in the whaler struggling to navigate out the inlet at Fort Lauderdale. As a young man, William owned a Porsche 356 B and loves driving. In retirement, his passions are golf and woodworking. He and Marty have been married for 44 years as of this publication, by the grace of God.
