Overview

Once there existed two beingsStarchild and Moonchild. In the story, they have a very strong connection with love and joy, but it is clear that Starchild is struggling with mental illness. Stars struggle tragically ends in death. The rest of the story is about Moonchilds recovery from Starchilds suicide and how Moon can recover knowing it is surrounded and loved by its star above.

My name is Ireland McEndree Kelly, I live in Glendora, California. I don't remember when I started writing but I began this book in the beginning of freshman year. I've dealt with mental health issues throughout my life and I express my feelings through words, ink and taps on the keyboard to make words onto the page. I am so blessed to have been able to make all this possible with the help of so many people. I was starchild for so long, until suddenly, you have to let it go. Suddenly, you be the moon, in order to survive.
