James got his first paying job working as a layout artist in television animation. In 1997, he created Atlantis Studios, a graphic arts studio specializing in adapting film properties into graphic novel format.Since that time, James has worked as lead Editor on over 200 comics and graphic novels. Among the notable projects adapted by the studio was The Librarian: Return to King Solomon's Mines, a Dean Devlin / Electric Entertainment film, the second in the popular Librarian movie series. This series will roll out in multiple volumes over the next few years. The Star Runner series was recently optioned for development into a live action feature film, through a joint venture with New South Independent and Third Shift Media.
