Ron Austin is a veteran Hollywood writer-producer and the author of In a New Light: Spirituality and the Media Arts and Peregrino: A Pilgrim Journey into Catholic Mexico. A member of the Motion Picture Academy and the College of Fellows of the Dominican School of Philosophy and Theology, he is the recipient of a lifetime achievement award from the Writers Guild of America.
