Table of ContentsReviewsAuthor InformationDavid Crawford was born on 13th June 1941 in Newry, Co.Down. His family had been evacuated as a result of the Luftwaffe air raids on Belfast that spring. He left school aged 14 to work for the British Shoe Corporation earning one pound 15 shillings per week (GBP1.75), becoming self-employed in 1982. Having bought his first motorcycle in 1960, over the past 35 years he has built up a motorcycle collection, mostly Italian. He is also interested in modern history, particularly World War II.
