Wayne Craven is the H. F. du Pont Winterthur Professor of Art History, Emeritus, at the University of Delaware. He is the author of American Art: History and Culture, Two Hundred Years of American Art: The Munson-Williams-Proctor Institute and Sculpture in America, among many others. He lives in Newark, Delaware.
