He worked with them all, from an unknown Sam Shepard and David Mamet to Edward Albee and Arthur Miller. He was also the founder of the Judy Garland Fan Club as a young teen. Poland is coauthor/editor of The Off Off Broadway Book, and is a principal player in Michael Riedel's bestseller Razzle Dazzle: The Battle for Broadway. In 2019, the Off Broadway Alliance presented Albert with a Legend of Off Broadway Award. Ron Butler is a Los Angeles-based actor, Earphones Award-winning audiobook narrator, and voice artist with over a hundred film and television credits. Most kids will recognize him from the three seasons he spent on Nickelodeon's True Jackson, VP. He works regularly as a commercial and animation voice-over artist and has voiced a wide variety of audiobooks. He is a member of the Atlantic Theater Company and an Independent Filmmaker Project Award winner for his work in the HBO film Everyday People. Michael Riedel has been a theater columnist for the New York Post since 1998. He worked at the New York Daily News for five years before returning to the Post and has written for the Guardian, Harper's Bazaar, Mirabella, Departures, and Commentary. He is the executive producer and cohost of Theater Talk on PBS, is a contributor to the BBC, and has appeared on Larry King Live, the Today show, Good Morning America, and many other news programs.
