OverviewThis new edition of a bestselling guide is about how to use the process of formal supervision to support staff in helping professions, with the aim of improving experiences and outcomes for people who use services. The material is underpinned by a belief that the way in which an organisation supervises and supports its staff is critical to improving the quality of the service it provides. Yet supervision per se is not enough; it must be good supervision, delivered so as to maximise benefits for all concerned. Building on Tony Morrison’s pioneering legacy and incorporating new developments and tools for today’s workplaces, Staff Supervision in Health and Social Care is a landmark publication for the contemporary supervision field. Like its predecessors, the Fourth Edition contains a wealth of information, guidance, research, practical frameworks, action learning exercises and supervision tools.
