Olga Prud'homme Farge and Alice de la Moureyre travelled the world in search of fabulous stables for their documentary series on French television. It was this experience - which gained them entrance into the rarefied world of horse owners and breeders -- that inspired the book. Gabriele Boiselle is one of the most successful horse photographers in the world. Jean-Louis Gouraud is the contributor of the foreword and is the author of novels, essays, plays and other writings about horses and horse racing.
