Overview

The city was slowly waking from its slumber when Charles Slaughter, a ruthless bank manager, was found stabbed to death in the lavatory of the City West train station. The target seemed to be a close-knit group of business professionals who had helped many local businesses to get started and grow. Retired business consultant Philip Gabriel and Doris, his telepathic Tibetan Terrier, are drawn into the investigation. But as they delve deeper, Philip and Doris soon wonder if the victims are as innocent as they seem and the killer may be closer than they think. They unravel a conspiracy of financial ruin and bitter revenge. With the bodies piling up, Philip and Doris must use all their skills to solve this murder and bring the killer to justice.
