OverviewBeing on the road with the Diana Mini ennobles any subject, even if they themselves are unaware of it. This volume brings together images from worlds as different as a rather unknown cemetery and the ruins of a factory, both located in the Reichshauptslum Berlin. One can hardly determine from the pictures whether vandals have graffitied the cemetery or the factory ruin. Berlin remains Berlin. The Diana Mini democratizes everything. Whether you like this over-democratization of the aesthetic world or not, it takes place when you get involved with Lomography. We live in a world of complete egalitarianism anyway. The Diana Mini has an appropriate place in our gallery's camera lineup. This catalog serves to perpetuate an analog installation that the Gallery for Cultural Communication exhibited on a farm on a North Frisian island for exactly one (1) day in July 2021. The exhibited images were subsequently given away to interested parties and thus suspended in the analog world. This catalog is not intended to tell troglodytes how to load film, it is emphatically not an instruction manual for the Diana mini, nor can it explain why it breaks so readily and quickly. Explaining the world is not the task of art.
