Author Information

Fredericton based Graphic Designer/Artist Carmen McKay is no stranger to creative endeavors. In 2010 McKay earned her diploma in Communications Design at The New Brunswick College of Craft and Design. Upon graduating she worked on a broad basis of projects in various mediums such as: design, film, animation, sculpture, illustration and photography. After years of composing design campaigns for local businesses and event promotions within the Fredericton community, she moved to Hampton N.B to become Ossekeag Publishing's Creative Director. In 2016 her thirst for inspiration drew her back to Fredericton's thriving creative community. In 2017 McKay became a mother to daughter Tori O'Donnell. This life event inspired her to pursue the arts within the children's entertainment industry.
