Overview
Spreeradweg is the name of the route from Neugersdorf to Berlin. Well developed, it follows from the three sources of the Spree near Eibau on around 410 km through beautiful landscapes to the pulsating federal capital Berlin. You can discover the Lusatian mountains with the magnificent half-timbered houses and their front gardens full of flowers as well as historical and medieval towns. Visitors experience the magic of the Spreewald biosphere reserve with its unique landscapes worthy of protection and the Wendish-Sorbian culture not only on a boat trip on the still waters, but also in the various places. The area around Berlin is rich in forests and water and offers relaxation at the Muggelsee. You will also meet the captain from Koepenick on the way to the Brandenburg Gate and the Zoological Garden in the capital.
