Inge Pohl ist Universitätsprofessorin für Germanistische Sprachwissenschaft. Ihre Forschungsgebiete sind die Semantik von Wort, Satz und Text, die Textlinguistik inklusive Stilistik, die literarische Onomastik und die Kognitive Linguistik. Horst Ehrhardt lehrt seit 1979 an der Pädagogischen Hochschule/Universität Erfurt. Neben der deutschen Gegenwartssprache steht die Geschichte der germanistischen Sprachwissenschaft und des Deutschunterrichts im Mittelpunkt seiner Arbeit.
