An ongoing programme of work is the study of dietary pattern and allergic disease prevention in collaboration with colleagues at the University of Edinburgh. Dean currently teaches human physiology to undergraduates, and human nutrition to postgraduate students Philip Watkins is the Owner/Managing Director of Sports Performance Consultancy (SPC) Ltd based in South Wales, UK. He is a BASES Accredited Sport and Exercise Scientist/UKSCA Accredited Strength and Conditioning Coach with 20 years experience delivering scientific support to athletes from a variety of populations in both the UK and abroad.
