Dean Sewell is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Life Sciences at Heriot-Watt University, UK, and leads research activities relating to human nutrition and primary prevention of disease, in particular allergic disease. An ongoing programme of work is the study of dietary pattern and allergic disease prevention in collaboration with colleagues at the University of Edinburgh. Dean currently teaches human physiology to undergraduates, and human nutrition to postgraduate students Philip Watkins is the Owner/Managing Director of Sports Performance Consultancy (SPC) Ltd based in South Wales, UK. He is a BASES Accredited Sport and Exercise Scientist/UKSCA Accredited Strength and Conditioning Coach with 20 years experience delivering scientific support to athletes from a variety of populations in both the UK and abroad. He also has over 15 years competitive experience as an international powerlifter winning various Welsh, British, European, Commonwealth and World titles Murray Griffin is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Biological Sciences at the University of Essex, UK.
