SaDonna Heathman knows all about searching for the perfect spot to sploot. Just like her two mischievous characters, she lives on a farm-but when the summer heat is on, she heads to the local lake to cool off! A lifelong storyteller, she wrote her first story after receiving a typewriter in elementary school and hasn't stopped since. Inspired by farm life and the joy of cooling off on a hot summer day, Sploot is a playful celebration of staying cool as temperatures rise. When not writing, SaDonna stays busy on the family farm alongside her husband, three kids, and loads of farm animals-and maybe even a squirrel or two!
