The world is full of distractions and keeping kids engaged while learning a subject such as spelling definitely poses its own challenges for parents and teachers alike. I first discovered the Spelling Weekly Practice books by Scholastic Panda Education when I purchased their 1st and 2nd grade edition, from there I was hooked and so were my children. This book for 3rd graders does not let down as it provides a new set of essential words while giving a gentle push of increasing difficulty helping kids improve their memory, critical thinking, and of course spelling! My kids love this edition because it also has plenty of coloring, crossword puzzles, fill in the blank sentences, and mystery codes to solve throughout the book. Very happy with this purchase. -D.B.
