Table of ContentsReviewsAuthor InformationMarcelo Sampaio de Alencar received his PhD from the University of Waterloo, Canada, 1994. He worked for the State University of Santa Catarina (UDESC), the Federal University of Paraiba (UFPB) and the Federal University of Campina Grande (UFCG). He is visiting chair professor at the Federal University of Bahia, Brazil. He is founder and president of the Institute for Advanced Studies in Communications (Iecom) and has published over 450 engineering and scientific papers and 20 books. He is a registered professional engineer and a columnist of the traditional Brazilian newspaper Jornal do Commercio, since April 2000. Fabricio Braga Soares de Carvalho received his DSc in Electrical Engineering from the Federal University of Campina Grande (UFCG), Brazil, in 2015. He is with the Department of Electrical Engineering at the Federal University of Para'ba (UFPB) in Joao Pessoa, Brazil. He has more than 70 papers published in journals and conferences. Waslon Terllizzie Araœjo Lopes received his DSc from the Federal University of Campina Grande (UFCG), Brazil, in 2003. He worked for AREA1 College of Science and Technology, Salvador, he was with the Federal University of Campina Grande, and currently he is with the Federal University of Para'ba, Joao Pessoa, Brazil. He is also finance director of the Iecom. Carlos Danilo Miranda Regis is professor of the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Para'ba - IFPB. He has his doctorate in electrical engineering with emphasis in signal processing from UFCG. Carlos is leader of the digital signal processing group (GPDS) of IFPB and chief editor of Principia Magazine. He is also an expert on video and image processing and biological signal processing.
