The Dubin, while a classic, does not draw me in or encourage me to refresh. This book however is incredibly entertaining and I actually get excited to review and refresh. The PA that wrote it deserves a round of applause. The art work is great and it's solid mix of academia with humor and art that really sets it apart from any other ECG text I've seen. I highly recommend it - Expat_Medic As a med student, I had been looking for something to help to gain a good understanding of ECGs. Dubin's was recommended to me as the classic ECG text, but I found it to be dated and often left me feeling more confused. It's also difficult to return to as a reference source. I feel this book was much easier to understand. The characters and illustrations are great and kept me engaged through the learning process. It is also much better source to return to as a reference. It's a complete book for learning what can be what of the hardest skills in med school, and if your looking to buy just one book I would definitely choose Sparkson's. - J. Kieffer Love this book! I work as a PA in cardiology and this book has helped me to master one of the more difficult tasks in my day to day - interpreting ekgs. The author effectively teaches you how to read ekgs and entertains you with his awesome cartoons that simultaneously help the information to stick . This is the best way to learn medicine! Hope to see more books like this. - Meghan M. Author InformationTab Content 6Author Website:Countries AvailableAll regions |
