Spaceship Earth 101

Overview

How can we confront climate change and inequality if our financial system works against us, instead of for us? We live on a planet facing immense challenges: climate change, inequality, dying species, oceans and ecosystems. And that is just the top of the list. It all seems insurmountable. But what if the real barrier isn't resources or innovation-but the way we think about money? In Spaceship Earth 101, Nick Egnatz offers a powerful and eye-opening exploration of how reforming America's monetary system could unlock the resources needed to meet these crises head-on. Examining multiple environmental crises, the growing threat of AI, inequality, within a compromised economic system that is able to produce little for us but debt, Egnatz weaves together a bold and practical vision for a just and sustainable future. Discover how democratizing finance and rethinking debt, can create a system that works for both people and planet, taking us to a broader discussion of liberty, equality and democracy. If you're searching for hope and a way forward in troubled times, let Spaceship Earth 101 transport you there.
