Robert C. Clark's photographs have appeared in National Geographic books, Newsweek, and the Smithsonian Magazine, among other publications, as well as in photographic awards annuals such as Print and Communications Arts. Tom Poland is an award-winning writer and recipient of the Order of the Palmetto, South Carolina's highest civilian honor. Together Clark and Poland are the authors of Carolina Bays and Reflections of South Carolina, volumes 1 and 2, published by University of South Carolia Press.
