Long before she imagined writing a novel, Norma Beckberger was drawn to words, stories, and music. Over the years, she has written stories, poetry, and family history, including work on her mother's life and her own childhood memories. Norma was born in Heswall, England, and moved to Canada with her family after World War II. She later completed her education in Saint John, New Brunswick-a place that continues to influence her writing. Now living in Stouffville, Ontario, with her husband, Doug, Norma is a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She enjoys reading, writing, and participating in her local community and church.
