In our ninth book, Sophia and Alex have fun visiting their grandparents. They have experiences witnessing various forms of transportation, from riding in taxis to their first trip on an airplane. Author Denise Bourgeois-Vance is a bilingual immigrant to the United States. She holds a degree in Social Science from Washington State University and has worked as a preschool teacher and Family Support Specialist. She is a mother and grandmother, currently living in Washington State with her husband and daughter. Artist Damon Danielson is a gifted children's book illustrator with over 20 years of art and illustration experience. He has worked with preschool and elementary-aged children, developing artwork, curriculum, and activities. Damon and his family live in the greater Atlanta, GA area, where they own and operate a graphic arts company.
