""Sophia and Alex Clean the House"" is one of eleven volumes in the ""Sophia and Alex"" series, written by Author Denise Bourgeois-Vance and illustrated by Artist Damon Danielson. The storyline follows Sophia and Alex as they work alongside other family members to perform chores around the house. The children learn that cleaning can be fun and rewarding when the family works together. After chores are done, the family rewards themselves by attending a baseball game and cheering for Sophia and Alex's older brother, Noah. Author Information
Author Denise Bourgeois-Vance is a bilingual immigrant to the United States. She holds a degree in Social Science from Washington State University and has worked as a preschool teacher and Family Support Specialist. She is a mother and grandmother, currently living in Washington State with her husband. Artist Damon Danielson is a gifted children's book illustrator with over 20 years of art and illustration experience. He has worked with preschool and elementary-aged children, developing artwork, curriculum, and activities. Damon and his family live in the greater Atlanta, GA area, where they own and operate a graphic arts company.
