Sonnets for Halloween with a Treat from Shakespeare Featuring Artwork from the Golden Age of Postcards, 1890-1920

Overview

Step into a Halloween world where William Shakespeare meets the Golden Age of postcards. Sonnets for Halloween presents twelve original poems written in the style of Shakespearean sonnets, each accompanied by vintage illustrations from the Golden Age of Postcards (1890-1920). Every sonnet draws a word or phrase directly from Shakespeare's plays, making this collection both enchanting and educational. These playful sonnets invite readers to experience the magic of Halloween through humor, wit, and lighthearted fun. The first in a seasonal series, this book combines classic poetic craft with nostalgic imagery for lovers of both poetry and Shakespeare.
