Overview

This beautifully designed edition of Shakespeare's sonnets and poems is part of a series offering the best-loved classics in fine volumes, with colourful cloth bindings, and produced to the highest standards, for under 20 pounds. Instead of a normal dust jacket, there are decorated cloth covers with a printed illustration wrapping around the book. Coloured page tops, decorated endpapers, meticulous line-by-line typesetting and thick acid-free paper are among the elements that differ from a standard hardback, to give these editions extra appeal with all the crafted virtues of a good book. The result is quality of design and production that adds to the pleasure of reading and makes each book a desirable object in itself. For anyone interested in a fine edition of a favourite work, this makes an attractive volume for the bookshelf or an authentic and distinctive present.
