Paul Williams is one of the most beloved and respected music creators in the world today. He is a lyracist and composer who has won an Oscar Award, three Grammy Awards, two Golden Globes and is in the Songwriters Hall of Fame. William's standards have been recorded by such icons as Ray Charles, Tony Bennett, Dianna Ross, The Carpenters, Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald, Luther Vandross, Willie Nelson, Gonzo and Kermit the Frog. William's song, ""The Rainbow Connection,"" is registered in the Library of Congress' National registry and a top movie soundtrak of his in A Star is Born is his song ""Evergreen"" sung by Barbara Streisand. He wrote the theme to the Love Boat, and the theme song for The Boy in the Bubble (1976) starring John Travolta as the teenager living in a plastic tent because his body has no immunities to fight germs. In addtion to being a song writer, he has appeared on multiple talk shows, movies, televisions shows and game shows. He appeared on Late Night with Johnny Carson 50 times! In the 1970's, Paul Williams was seen everywhere, and then disappeared. He even has 100 sky jumps under his belt in the 1970's. His life was made into a documentary in 2011 entitled, ""Still Alive."" He spent his 1980's in the bottle and sobered up in 1990. Today, he is passonite about recovery and works tirelessly to destigmatize alcoholism and addiciton. He is a Certified Drug Rehabilation Counselor and a book entitled, Gratitude and Trust. As of 2025, Williams is aged 84.
