OverviewThe book SON OF MY FATHER is an autobiography about Tony Muonagor's childhood years with a special attention to his father's personality, character, humanness, philanthropy and relationship with him. The book is dedicated to the life and times of the Late Gabriel Amaonyeanaeze Muonagor from when I started knowing him as a boy until his untimely death in 1977 as captured by his second son and fourth born child. This Comedy book was inspired by the English Literature book titled ONE WEEK ONE TROUBLE which was authored by Anezi Okoro whose book was the Literature text book read by Tony Muonagor when he was in Secondary school class two at Abakaliki High School (PRESCO) in the old Anambra and present Ebonyi State. It's the interesting story of Wilson Tagbo's sojourn in boarding school. It is historic that Tony Muonagor who had One week added to his names (courtesy of his Literature book ONE WEEK ONE TROUBLE and teacher Mr Obijiofor Kodo ), has consciously written his own book primarily intended as a textbook for Literature in English in Secondary schools. The difference between the two books is that the one Tony read in 1977 was fiction while the one he has penned is a non fiction based on a true story. In most tribes and cultures of Africa, every good, brave, brilliant and fearless child is usually his or her father's favorite. Every parent yearns for children who will grow in leaps and bounds. A successful child is the dream of every Father or Mother. Every good parent deserves a successful child. The author hopes and prays that every girl child who reads this book will be entertained amidst learning life's major lessons while every boy who reads the book will have the temerity to say: I am the SON OF MY FATHER.
