The practice is now a multi-award winner and spans three Australian states. JWA's portfolio includes houses, apartment and commercial towers, educational buildings and office fit outs. JWA has won the Sir Zelman Cowen Award for best public housing twice, the Harold Desbrowe-Annear Award for best residential project on three occasions and has twice been the recipient of the Victorian Architecture Medal. He is currently Curator of Contemporary Architecture and Urbanism at the Victoria and Albert Museum; Adjunct Senior Research Fellow at the University of Melbourne; and a Design Advocate for the Mayor of London. [Max Delany] Max Delany is the Artistic Director and Chief Executive Officer at the Australian Centre for Contemporary Art. He was formerly Senior Curator, Contemporary Art, at the National Gallery of Victoria, Melbourne (2012-2016), and Director, Monash University Museum of Art (2004-2012), where he oversaw the development of MUMA's award-winning architectural premises on the Caulfield campus. Since 2011 Max has also held the position of adjunct Associate Professor, Curatorial Practice, in the Faculty of Art, Design and Architecture, Monash University.
