A storyteller at heart from a young age, Ryan Freerksen grew up filming intricate (and absurdly long) Claymation movies on his old Hi-8 camcorder before attending college for filmmaking. Almost a decade would pass before he realized his love for film was not rooted in its technical aspects but rather the crafting of a captivating tale. It was while working a particularly mind-numbing desk job that his thoughts began to wander and a whole cast of characters began to creep up from somewhere in his subconscious. They were persistent enough that he found his long-lost narrative voice once again. He began writing his debut novel that day, and has been lost in the world he created ever since.
