OverviewThere are a lot of issues where disagreement exists in our world. This is true both politically and theologically. We all have sets of beliefs which are the foundation for our actions. For some reason, the ability of us to disagree in appropriate ways has degraded to the point where civility and Christianity have evaporated. Instead of pretending these disagreements do not exist, why not bring them out in the open so that we can practice and learn how to disagree civilly and in a Christian manner so that when ""the world"" watches, we are found to be people of love, even in our disagreements. Many people in the United States and in our churches have lost the ability to disagree in appropriate ways. This study is more about learning how to live, love, and worship in communities where we do not agree, than it is about the 52 topics included. Use these topics to engage in healthy, civil, and Christian conversations, avoiding arguments, as you seek to express your beliefs and to listen to the beliefs of others. Perhaps these are the jumping off point for an adult Sunday School class or a group study.
