Table of ContentsReviewsAuthor InformationMONTE BURCH was born and raised on a farm near Clinton, Missouri, where the timbered Ozark hills meet the prairies. In an area rich in outdoor and Native American (he is part Cherokee) heritage, he spent much of his childhood roaming the countryside hunting, fishing, and camping. After working toward a college degree in music, he decided to return to his first love, the outdoors, and went to work for Workbench magazine. Six years later he became a full-time freelance writer. He has been an outdoor writer for more than four decades and has authored more than fifty books, including Country Crafts and Skills (page 37) and The Ultimate Guide to Making Outdoor Gear and Accessories (page 113). He lives on an Ozark hills farm in Humansville, Missouri with his wife Joan. Tab Content 6Author Website:Countries AvailableAll regions |
