OverviewSolomon Kane, along with a mismatched group of companions including: an old scholar, his beautiful daughter, a disgraced Knight of Malta, an Italian rogue, and an African guide, search for the lost Serpent Ring of Thoth-Amon in the valley of the Serpent Men. Legend says that the ring grants great power, and each of the treasure hunters, bar Kane himself, begin to be seduced and corrupted by the promise of that power. But the ring is guarded by a sorceress, the Serpent Men, and the snake god itself, Yiggseth. The 'Sword of Vengeance' slashes into his own new series, SOLOMON KANE: THE SERPENT RING! Kane battles from the Barbary Coast; across Southern Europe, to the canals of Venice, as a band of rogues forms around him in their quest for the fabled Serpent Ring of Set! It's the much-anticipated return of Solomon Kane from Patrick Zircher (Superman, Iron Man, Savage Avengers, Moon Knight!) Table of ContentsReviews""A richly constructed, gorgeously rendered start to Solomon Kane's latest adventure when he comes into possession of a dangerous artifact. Patrick Zircher goes the distance (and a few miles extra) to create a tale brimming with detail and authenticity. 8 out of 10."" - Comical Opinions ""The heroes at Titan & Heroic Signatures have stepped up to the plate in a big way. After some false starts and bouts of ""good enough"", there's finally a comic run that embraces what Howard's stories were all about. There's savagery aplenty, with no blunted edges to soften the violence. And there are epic characters in the world, righting wrongs and wreaking havoc. If you've been waiting for the right moment to jump into these stories, I don't know what else I can say to help you take that last step. Final Score: 12/13"" - The Pullbox ""This first issue of Solomon Kane: The Serpent Ring is one of the best comics I have ever seen and an early candidate for this year's Eisner Awards. The story is gripping, the art complex, and everything an action adventure comic should be. This is another triumphant adaptation of the heroes of Robert E. Howard and the makings of a magnum opus for artist Patrick Zircher."" - KabOOOOOm ""Patrick Zircher delivers a visually stunning and historically rich adventure in Solomon Kane: The Serpent Ring #1, blending pulpy action with deep world-building."" - AIPT ""9/10. This is a divinely drawn and passionately plotted first issue that should not be missed! Patrick Zircher is firing on all cylinders, this mini-series is clearly his magnum opus."" - Bot Talk ""Zircher's artwork is incredible. The consistent level of detail throughout is staggering, almost every page filled to the brim with historical details that help the series feel incredibly well-realised. Patrick Zircher's character designs and expression work are fantastic, vibrant and memorable, which combined with the thoughtful and deliberate writing make the characters feel real."" - Jared Talks Comics ""A story with great art of the swashbuckling era"" - Borg ""Zircher doesn't disappoint...The introductory issue is supremely balanced between setting details, history, characters delineated through action, and a steady storytelling stride. Solomon Kane has seldom looked better in a comic format, and based on my experience, he's never read more like the Howard character of those original stories."" - Comics Beat ""A richly constructed, gorgeously rendered start to Solomon Kane’s latest adventure when he comes into possession of a dangerous artifact. Howard's stories and has happily followed wherever those tales took his imagination. His art has inspired designs for the cinematic adventures of Thor, Suicide Squad, Iron Man, and Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, and his comic work includes Savage Sword of Conan, Star Wars, Superman, Batman, Iron Man, and dozens more. It should come as no surprise that his favorite thing to do is get up in the morning and go to work. Tab Content 6Author Website:Countries AvailableAll regions |
