Author Information

Dipak Kumar Chakrabarty has spent his entire professional life at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, Mumbai, India. In recognition of his contributions, the institute conferred on him the title Professor Emeritus in 2002. Since his retirement, he has been teaching short courses in solid state chemistry and surface chemistry in several universities and IITs. His research work was mostly in the areas of Solid State Chemistry and Heterogeneous Catalysis, and he has many publications in leading international journals of chemistry and physics .
