Solas

Overview

Lucy, a girl from Scituate, Massachusetts, with Native American and Irish heritage, is struggling to find her place after her grandfather's death shakes her family. When a daring art theft hits the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, Lucy sees a chance to solve the mystery and maybe help her family heal. Alongside her two closest friends, she enters a high-stakes game contest, facing stiff competition from an arch-rival. In this middle-grade historical mystery, Lucy balances her love of art with her connection to nature and herbal lore, guided by her loyal Corgi, Rusty, and the wisdom of her grandparents. As she navigates friendship, rivalry, and adventure, Lucy becomes a determined girl detective, exploring her multicultural heritage and learning to face challenges with grit, curiosity, and heart.
