Energy Sources can be classified as primary and secondary energy sources. Primary energy sources are normally categorized as renewable and non-renewable on the basis of their depleting characteristics. Renewable energy derived from natural resources and they are automatically replenished. It is also known as clean energy sources. Secondary energy sources are derived from transformation of primary energy sources i.e. heat and electricity.
